Park and National Palace of Pena (Palácio da Pena)
Perched high above the Sintra hills, the Park and National Palace of Pena is one of Portugal’s most iconic landmarks and a masterpiece of 19th-century Romantic architecture. Originally built on the ruins of a former monastery, the palace combines Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and Manueline influences, creating its distinctive and colourful appearance. Together with the surrounding park, it forms part of the UNESCO-listed Cultural Landscape of Sintra.
Quinta da Regaleira
Quinta da Regaleira is one of Sintra's most fascinating landmarks, known for its romantic architecture, lush gardens and mysterious atmosphere. Moorish Castle (Castelo dos Mouros)
